This product includes one three hour workshop held on Tuesday 7th July at Anzac Oval Youth Centre Meeting Room 1. We bill by the term and are not liable for classes which the student does not attend.
We have now registered as COVID SAFE and have implemented plans to enable us to return to on site tuition. All classes are again held in the studio, unless private lesson students request online tuition, which is still available. Students under 18ys living in NSW can claim $100 free tuition with government funded Creative Kids vouchers.
About the class:
This 3 hour workshop is specifically tailored to students undertaking their Speech and Performance Theory Grade 4 examination. The theatre history section of this examination requires extensive knowledge on Greek Theatre. Focus areas will include the stage, costumes, masks, and chorus.
Did you know that the Greek Theatre buildings were called a theatron? The theatres were large, open-air structures constructed on the slopes of hills and consisted of three main elements: the orchestra, the skene and the audience.
