Mia's Public Speaking Win!

Mia B impressed us all with her public speaking this week, winning first place in the senior category of the Bosco College Public Speaking Competition. The Deputy Principal remarked that he was blown away by the quality and content of Mia's speech - the level of language, the sophisticated arguments and originality of material. Mia's name is now listed on the school's perpetual trophy and she will go on to compete at the Sutherland Shire comp. More hard work to come - we know Mia will go from strength to strength.

We would also like to congratulate Madisson G for placing third in the same competition! Madisson spoke on the power of technology platforms to enable everyday people to be change makers. At the Grace Studios Rising Stars Showcase (where Madisson also performed her speech), the adjudicator gave her a special mention, noting that she was one of the top three standouts on the night.
